is not a valid user name for technical reasons.

The coding will not reliably parse or process user names that contain other than alpha numeric characters.

Sorry but we had to delete the account, but please go ahead and create a new one.

Also... I'm not sure that the validation code for user names registration was supposed to allow user names with spaces. I'm not sure how that will work with @Lazarus+Nunya including "at user" tags.

So you are saying that you would rather click on the User's picture (located on the left side of the comment) in order to go to that user's profile page?

What about the username (in bold), do you think that should be a clickable link or have some other interactive function?

@Lazarus+Nunya Thanks for the valuable feedback. You can follow other users, but the follow button is only present on that user's profile page.

Presently we have the username (in bold) next to the user avatar in each comment, as a clickable link to take you to the user's profile page; however, we can also make the avatar image a clickable link also, (or instead of) the username.
