Hey Andrew Torba,

While we here at Twpter.com find some inspiration (in a secular sense) from your works at gab.com and we appreciate what you are trying to do in building a parallel society that is not based in Silicon Valley and the other “traditional seats of power” and their institutions; we take exception to your latest e-mailing of 9/28/2021, subject line: A Parallel Christian Society

And I quote: “ Together and by the Grace of God we built an enduring online community grounded in the uniquely Christian value of freedom of speech”

Seriously?! “The uniquely Christian value of freedom of speech”

Maybe you are not familiar with your own scriptures:

Matthew 15:11 “ Not what goes into the mouth defiles a man; but what comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man. ”

I have seen this line of scripture used on multiple occasions to silence dissent and shut down free speech within “Christian Circles”.

We are all currently witnessing the abuses of power being perpetrated by the #SiliconValleyElite , the Marxist leaning leftists and their Rising #TechnocraticOligarchy censoring free speech, and imposing their #CancelCulture with the fervent support of their #WokeGestapo brand of useful idiots.

However, I've “been around the block a few times” and I can tell you that the “holier than thou”, Right wing Religious Fanatics you seem to be courting through Gab are every bit as intolerant, authoritarian and as dangerous to free speech and dissent as the “Woke Left” is now; when they gain control and have access to the levers of power in society and government.

I have a deep respect and admiration for your talent in building your growing organization and it's wildly successful alternative social media platform; but you should study some history and mellow out your hard-line Christian narrative before what you are building becomes that which you seek to circumvent.

Seriously, Torba is going to try and float the idea of Religion or Christianity as an institution is the defender or guarantor of free speech?
