I studied up a little on some feminist history.

Apparently Gloria Steinem worked for the #CIA in the 50's and 60's at the height of the #ColdWar with the Soviet Union. She was involved in countering Soviet ideological influence at international youth festivals of the day.

This was indeed very important work in the context of the Cold War when the the main battle between the super powers was ideological. The Soviets gave women the right to vote years before the United States did, as well as mostly equal employment opportunities and pay long before the United States did.

The United States needed to show the world at the time; that it was just as progressive as the Soviets when it came to Women's rights, Workers rights and in maintaining a “social safety net” of social programs. So, Steinem's role and importance to the CIA was understandable and plausible. #ArchivePDF

Probably the smartest thing I have heard about #bitcoin / #crypto in a long time:

And saying that Quantum Mechanics and Quantum Physics is "Incomplete" is just another way of saying we don't understand this science, we can't make our equations work and we are just pulling shit out of our ass now as we grasp at straws for understanding of something which we have no clue of how it works.

Instead of just "putting it on a shelf" until we (or someone in the future) do understand it and have something to prove using classic, peer reviewed and reproducible scientific methods, we are just going to publish some BULLSHIT to get our names in Scientific journals and get government funding for it. Why is this document so heavily redacted to this day? Is it for reasons of "National Security" or is it part of some fucking #ColdWar bluff in a geopolitical "poker game" to get the soviets to double down on dead end physics, or was it to propagandize our own people into thinking we had better "voodoo" #Science than the Soviets had?

Sounds to me like a need to prove technological superiority and capability where there was none, in the same vein of the 1969 "moon landing" which may or (more likely) may NOT have actually happened, and was not filmed in a studio in Falls Church, Virginia by Stanley Kubrick. #ArchivePDF

Yet, we are supposed to believe that the United States government's #NASA sent a manned spacecraft to the moon in 1969 when computers used vacuum tubes, and the largest, most powerful computer in the world took up the square footage of a 3 bedroom house, and didn't have the computing power of a modern handheld calculator?

OK even if they could shield for radiation of the Van Allen Belt, and you can explain the physics of the cooling system of the space suits (NOT), and the problems with photographic film at moon temperatures, you can't get past the obvious vacuum of space affect on space suits:
