Hey @phoneguy it does sound like something is going on in the #Nevada desert at Burning man with that quarantine, but it will be a while before the dust (or mud) settles and we find out what it really is.
This guy in this video sounds like he has a pretty good handle on what Burning Man really is. Sounds like a discount #Woke rip off of Woodstock to me, but updated for today's youth, and with no pretense of being "counter culture" at all.

What the hell is going on? Reports that the #CDC sent out an Emergency Health Advisory on #SocialMedia warning people about an Ebola breakout in #Nevada , specifically Black Rock City, Nevada specifically to Burning Man attendees. Soon after, this advisory is soon deleted from social media.
Reports of multiple communicable diseases circulating due to lack of sanitation and "waste management issues" related to full porta-potties that are not able to be emptied, also reports of and multiple deaths, and people running out of food and resorting to cannibalism?
Reports of medical personnel in full Hazmat suits telling people that they can not leave the area.

There are definate signs that this disease breaking out at the Burning Man Festival in #Nevada is actually Ebola, a more likely disease / condition for the symptoms described and the area this is taking place is "Valley Fever" aka: Coccidioidomycosis

Something going on over at the Burning Man festival at Black Rock Desert playa in #Nevada
In addition to some 73,000 people being prevented from leaving the isolated festival grounds, which reportedly do not get mobile phone reception; there are reports that people who were able to leave are coughing up coagulated blood and are being quarantined at #LosAngeles Airport (LAX)
The area is a dry lake bed which has fine alkali soil which gives off copious amounts of dust when dry. Breathing alkali dust can cause respiratory problems if you breathed enough of it, but this would be no reason to quarantine people, like what is done for a contagious pathogen.
