People just had different ideas about raising children in the 70's & 80's

Sure.... Stupid things were done by some, and they payed the price, but we as a community all learned from those stupid mistakes. We lived our lives much more freely than kids today, and we learned how to evaluate and mitigate risk, unlike today's kids who are afraid to do anything that requires their own judgement.

And NO, we didn't get "Participation trophies", if you wanted recognition you had to excel and be better than your competition, or find something you were good at, these are lessons we took with us into adulthood, and that is why Gen-X got ahead, and why "millennials" are a bunch of whining, panty waste, "Soy boys" and Karens that need #DEI and "safe spaces".

I agree, this election does have global implications.

Even though the United State's economic and military dominance of the world is undeniably fading; our country still projects quite a bit of "soft power" in the form of culture and entertainment that gets exported to the far corners of the globe and influences people in the farthest corners of the world.

The fact that the majority of American people have clearly rejected #Woke ideology and want to see some sort of return to traditional values, or at least values that are not based on "sexual identity", skin color and victim politics; this ideological change will reverberate around the world.

This Woke crap is basically Cultural #Marxism and anyone who has been around a while knows that Marxism / Communism only leads to #Tyranny and forced poverty with a "floor" for all. (except for high party members)

Apparently Hotez posing as a man of #Science and selling some sort of Patent medicines or some such potions, poisoned some children, who's parents trusted him to cure their children.

Strong Theory Points Away From Lone Wolf Assassins Narrative

@phoneguy I agree, I don't think this is a "Lone Wolf" situation. There is no way this kid should have been able to get this close to #trump 's podium with a rife.
